Batman and Robin's Favorite Marketing Strategy

Remember the old cartoons and comic books? We all know Batman and Robin. The good guys that come out and catch the bad guys when nobody else can. A friend to the police and the surrounding communities. The weirdest idea came into my mind the other night while going through a tremendous network marketing course on "traffic." I really don't know why but sometimes it is best not to think of "why" an idea came into your mind. You just have to run with it. Sometimes those are the best thoughts! I wrote down the title "Batman and Robin's Favorite Marketing Plan" so I would be able to get back to the thought at a later time.

This is IT!

In my mind I likened Batman and Robin's relationship as affiliate marketing. If you know anything at all about affiliate marketing you know that a reputable company allows someone to buy into their system or sometimes even get into their system for next to nothing. When this person advertises this company's products/services a commission is given to this particular person. If you think about it this is Batman and Robin. Batman is the reputable company. He has credibility to his name, people trust him, and he has the solved cases and success to back him up. Then there's Robin. Without Batman, what is Robin? Really he is nothing. Robin is not going to run around the dark streets and alleyways kicking the bad guys butt by himself, is he? I don't think so... He acts as Batman's sidekick and reaps the benefits of hanging around with Batman. Let's switch back for a minute to affiliate marketing. I understand that some top marketers actively engage in affiliate marketing and they should. There are benefits to be reaped from this and a veteran marketer has enough experience to really customize this process and make it work for them and their "already established" business in some really cool ways. But let's talk about a new marketer for a minute.. Someone that is just getting into the industry and really doesn't know a lot of what they need to do but they know that there are great benefits to be reaped by actively partnering with the reputable and already successful company. The new marketer here is Robin, remember that!

Robin comes in to partner with Batman and gets a brand new outfit and all the bells and whistles to gain credibility in their niche of catching bad guys. He has it made. He just helps Batman with his duties and prospers.

THE PROBLEM

Where did Robin go? I have not really heard much out of him lately.. Have you? Robin had the ability from learning from Batman to become his own person and catch his own bad guys and become "like" Batman himself but it seems that he gave up. This is the same deal with affiliate marketers. They run hard with the company for a while and then they just quit. There are many reasons that this happens but the point is, they had many resources available to them and "everything" that they needed to be successful but they were missing the dedication and stickability. When it comes down to it, I don't want to be the Robin. I want to move past Robin and become the Batman.

WHAT TO DO

Stop wasting time and dropping the ball on the programs that you start working with. Quit bouncing from one offer to the next thinking that the "offer" is going to make your wildest dreams come true. Build your business on a firm foundation and keep it there. Don't make the same mistakes that Robin did.

An Affiliate Marketer's Typical Day

Being an affiliate marketer has come a long, long way since the days of communicating in writing or by telephone. Most people now have access to the internet which provides us with easy access to all types of information and lines of business. This means that lots of affiliate marketers can now work effectively from the comfort of their own homes.

After a leisurely breakfast, it's time to switch on the computer and check the websites that have been set up. There are always improvements to be made, information to be updated and statistics to be checked out. It is important that your websites are attractive and have valuable, up to date and accurate information as there is a lot of competition out there. Check out banner/button ads to enhance your site and whether you can offer any reviews or free reports. Ensure your website is accessible and visible.

A good way of promoting your affiliate program is to submit it to directories. People who are interested in joining your affiliate program regularly trawl such directories to find something which interests them.

Take time to check out the sales you have been getting. It is important to keep track of these. Do you have any new contacts perhaps? These need to be added to your mailing list for further offers or communication. Building a mailing list is extremely important.

Do you have any outstanding messages from any of your customers? You must attend to these as soon as possible so that you can build up trust. Customers need to feel important and that you are genuinely interested in how they are getting on with the product they have purchased from you. Unanswered requests or queries will do you no favours so keep communication up to date. Always display a friendly yet professional approach.

Log on to some forums or chat rooms where you will be able to converse with other affiliate marketers. It's great to share ideas on new initiatives and how best to advertise and promote products. Learn from each other to help nurture your business and always be open to new suggestions.

Check out newsletters and publications to see if there are any new products you could introduce. In this modern world, it is important to keep up with any advances or product updates so that your customer is getting the most recent information possible.

How quickly the day passes for the affiliate marketer! Find the time throughout the day to attend to all the points made above but also note down other things you come across and make up a sort of timetable so that you know you are covering all you need to ensure your business is successful.

5 Common Newbie Mistakes

Before you quit your job and announce you official retirement, there are a few things that you should know about internet marketing. Although it sounds incredibly easy, and even though it sounds like you can really make money overnight, IT IS NOT THAT SIMPLE!

Sadly, if you want to make money, then you must do a lot of work. Sometimes part of that work is just avoiding the common pitfalls and mistake that most people make. Well here are a few very common mistakes that if you avoid will shorten your learning curve and put you on the fast track to making money online.

Common Mistake #1: Believing The Hype

That includes the hype even in the programs that you are promoting. Majority of affiliate marketers make less than $500 A YEAR through their online business, so it would be foolish to believe that you can just jump right in to any program and make a million dollars overnight without any work at all.

When you see a program like this, it is just preying on the new marketers who have not really learned a scam when they see it. Don't believe the hype, believe that you can make money online, but also believe that it will take time and effort to do so.

Common Mistake #2: Lack Of Planning

If you fail to plan, then you plan to fail. You HAVE heard this quote before, and for good reason. It is absolutely true. You must have a detailed goal before you can make any legitimate money online. Most people just have the vague idea that they are going to set out on the journey with the purpose of making a lot of money. That DOES NOT WORK! You must set up real, and feasible, goals. Don't just say that you want to make a million dollars in a month, you are new to this game so that is not quite feasible yet. Get a good plan and you'll be okay.

Common Mistake #3: Advertising Your Affiliate Link

I already know what you're thinking. If I don't advertise my affiliate link, then HOW TO HECK DO I MAKE MONEY! Well it is simple. You must make a website, and then you can place your affiliate links within it. Every internet marketer and their mother just randomly advertises their affiliate link, so in order for you to stand out you must do something radically different. Creating a website is how you stand out.

Common Mistake #4: Quitting

You have been working with internet marketing for a good few months, and you have little or nothing to show for it; certainly not enough to quit your job. You can't get discouraged, you have to pick yourself up and get back on the grind. No person in history has ever become a success by giving up, and neither will you, so STICK WITH IT!

If you make sure to avoid these four common newbie mistakes, you will not have a problem with making a solid income from your online business. Good Luck!

What It Takes to Make It in Empower Network

I am writing this article on the heels of my first Empower Network live event. I have stayed away from writing about Empower Network and have chosen to focus on education, Ultimate Fighting Championship and my family up until this point.

Frankly, I am much more interested in talking about what I am interested in talking about. You know what I mean.

However, what I have ignored is the platform that allows me to express myself and express myself freely while having the opportunity to earn a seven-figure income at the same time.

For me this is about a revolution and accessing the truth about who I am and what I care about. Maybe, a simpler way to put it is to express myself and what I care about freely without any of the constraints of what people care about AND to make a lot of money doing that.

Here is what I am going to do over the next 90 days -

1. Blog and Blog and Blog - The commitment in our company is to blog daily but blogging has become a lifestyle choice for me and I absolutely love it. (All that is really required to make a full time income is to blog once a day)

2. Shoot a lot of videos and post the nasty ones - I shot three videos this morning. In one of them, I was crying, in one of them I was offensive and in one of them I was kind of bored. Originally, I was thinking about leaving them on my camera and not having them see the light of day. Nonsense.

I titled this article - What it takes to make it in Empower Network?

The truth is that I have no idea. However, I do know that we each have 24 hours in a day and all that is required is to make the best of that time and to continually get better at living, loving and playing. That is the noblest of pursuits.

How can you make money doing that?

That really should be the only way to make money but that answer is probably not good enough for a lot of you.

The selling is done for us once somebody clicks one of our banner ads. The MACHINE goes to work for me and I go back to expressing myself however I please.

Sometimes, I will be fake and sometimes I will be real. Sometimes I will be apologetic but I promise to keep getting better every day.

About Two Tier Affiliate Programs

You can make recurring income through the referral of affiliates. By introducing an affiliate into a two tier marketing program, you will make money every time that they get paid.

There are so many different ways that money can be made with affiliate marketing. You can place banner ads, text ads, market in articles, market in emails, post on forums, create fan pages... the list goes on.

Now when you use these forms of affiliate marketing, and somebody buys a product through your affiliate link, you get a commission; that is great! But now, whenever that affiliate gets a commission, you get a percentage of that money too: that sounds even better!

So let us recap on what I have said so far: when you affiliate market, lets say you get paid fifty bucks, AND you have a person working beneath you. So lets say that you get paid 10% on his commissions. If he makes ten sales, totaling $500; you just made another fifty bucks, AND YOU DID NOTHING!

Do you understand what is happening here?

You, as an affiliate get paid whenever an affiliate that you referred makes money. So you are truly making money ON AUTOPILOT! You could have checks worth hundreds of dollars rolling in weekly, from only one affiliate! Just imagine how that would be if you referred 20 people.

What is happening here is you have the opportunity to create a huge web of inward streaming profit. You make money for every person that you refer personally, and you also make money for every person that THEY REFER!

All that is happening is a compound of interest. It is as if you put your money in a bank, and instead of you getting 4% over a year, you get 40% over a month.

The potential for profit is incredible if you want to put in the work, if you want to quit your job and work from home. However, if you like your job and you just want some supplemental income, then all you have to do is refer a few friends, and let them do all of the work for you.

It is almost ridiculous just how simple and easy it can be once it is really broken down.

Although, before you go referring people to two tier affiliate programs, you should definitely do your research. You want to know a few things:

    Is it a credible program
Do they have proper income tracking
Do they have good offers so your affiliates can actually make money
    Do they pay quickly
What percent do you get paid for your referrals
How long, and how often do you get paid

These are all things that you need to consider before you begin to refer people to a 2 tier marketing program, but if you get it correct, you can expect a steady stream of income for a long time into your future.

Affiliate Mistakes To Avoid To Increase Sales

Affiliate marketing is a very appealing business plan. You join a program for free, and when you refer people to it you get paid, sounds great! It is so great in fact, that more and more people are turning to it as a means of starting a home based business everyday. Although, there are a few mistakes that every affiliate marketer seems to make, and if you make these mistakes then you are hurting your business tremendously!

If you can avoid these mistakes, then you will quickly get over the learning curve and increase your commissions dramatically. So without further delay, here are the top four mistakes that affiliate marketers make:

Mistake #1: Not Researching An Affiliate Program

Many new affiliates make the mistake of jumping on board with a program just because it has a high commission rate and a lot of affiliates. You must at first search to see how happy people are with their payouts, how quickly these payouts are sent, and if the network that your promoting fits your website, articles, or however you are collecting customers.

Mistake #2: Incorrect Use Of A Signature File

A lot of affiliates send out e-mails, or post on forums, by just writing about ten lines of content and then jamming the whole thing full of outgoing links to an assortment of different products. The problem with this is that it can easily be filtered out as spam, and nobody is going to click through to your products if it doesn't look like you actually care about what you send to them. Take the ten minutes out of your day to write a good 15 lines with an intriguing first line, and then place your link: simple.

Mistake #3: Using Pre-Written Ad Copy

This is obvious when you think about it from the eyes of a customer. You've been searching for 2 hours for a good product to teach you "whatever," and what do you see? The exact same ad copy that you saw on the other 15 product sites that you went to.

As a marketer, you need to write your own unique ad copy so that you can stand out from all of the other promoters out there. If you won't take the time out to write your own ads, then why should they take the time out of their day to read it?

Mistake #4: Not Capturing Leads

Do you know what you get paid when a person clicks on your paid ad and then gets sent to a product site but they don't buy? NOTHING! You earn no money if they don't buy. So what you should do is collect their name and email so that you can consistently send these people recommendations for good quality products.

By getting their names and emails, you know have a group of potential customers with whom you can connect and form a personal bond with. When you have an email list, you have a source of residual income waiting for you to tap into. So make sure that you treat them well.

Now that you know the four mistakes that you MUST avoid, you are well on your way to becoming a super affiliate. Go out there and earn your commissions the right way while all of the other newbies continue to make these mistakes.
