How to Deal With Criticism Like a Champion

Ways To Deal With Criticism In Online Marketing

The idea that a business can be universally admired and loved is false. This is true both traditional and on the web. Even if you feel your company is amazing, you are going to have to confront some criticism. It is actually what you do when you find out about that criticism that counts. This is especially important to do when you do your business on the web -- where people don't have a lot of chances to interact with you personally to counteract the negative opinions they read. These are the things you need to do.

Reply to any kind of criticism you see without delay. This is extremely vital. You don't want to merely let a negative review sit somewhere without answering it. If the criticism was left in a public discussion board, leave a reply on the same thread thanking the person for his or her criticism. Tell him or her that you are investigating it and ask them for permission to talk about their concerns privately. It will prove to others that your priority is the creation of the best possible product... and that you do not respond poorly when a person criticizes you. This helps encourage respect from others.

Actually verify if the feedback is about something that must be resolved. The differences between a troll and a real review are evident. "You suck" does not justify your reply. "I ran into a 404 page" or "The formatting is messed up" are things that you are going to need to correct. Check everything out and if the change is something you need (or would like) to make, make it. This would prove that you genuinely do pay attention and will take action only when it's justified.

Each answer you give must be individualized. If you do choose to make a change or a fix, tell the one who posted the feedback that you're making the changes they asked you to make. It is also good to publish something like this openly. This demonstrates that you do not merely get angry when someone criticizes you. It demonstrates that you make an effort to give people what they really want. This is good, even when you decide against making changes people have requested. State that you looked into it but chose to leave things as they are. Be sure you clarify why this is.

Try to remember that, beyond anything else, the way in which you respond to opinions is all about managing your reputation. If you simply criticize somebody for criticizing you, you appear dumb. If you dismiss the criticism people have given to you and insist that everything is good, you are going to appear as if you do not understand your business or product well. Keep your vanity in check. People, more often than not, are not attacking you personally. They didn't have a fulfilling experience with your product. You must make your product better so they won't have the same experience later.

The manner in which you deal with feedback tells people a lot about both you and the business you are running. Make an effort to be as positive as you're able to about it!

Affiliate Marketing Is A Complete Waste Of Your Time and Money

I'm just saying what a lot of other people are feeling.

I want to preface what I'm about to say by saying this - I love the affiliate marketing model mostly because it is so easy to do and requires little or no money to get started, but there lies the problem.

Affiliate marketing has its problems and for many of us who have tried this approach to make money online know what they are. Just about everywhere you go on the internet today you will see some type of affiliate marketing advertisement. These ads are designed to invoke an emotional response that relies on one of three things:

1) Desperation - due to the lack of funds as a result of living beyond our means, loss of a job or maybe a medical travesty that has affected your life.

2) Greed - your love of money and the want to have as much as you can because you feel that being wealthy will bring about true happiness and power. You love the fancy cars, the nice watches and the VIP section at your favorite nightclub and you especially love to show it.

3) A better life - you're looking for ways to offer more for your family. A way to add more to your bank account and not rely on your employer, an employer who might not be here tomorrow. Whatever your reasons, these ads can have an alluring effect on the people who see them and the affiliate marketers know it, that's why they use them.

The Danger Signs

There are many red flags to look for when reading an affiliate marketing advertisement. Most of us will agree the signs are obvious, but for someone who has found themselves in a desperate situation, emotionally overwhelmed or just blinded by greed, common sense is sometimes amiss and the red flags are overlooked. What are some of these danger signs:

Guaranteed - If you see this word in any part of the ad other than the part where it says "money back guaranteed", this is a red flag. There are no guarantees in life other than death. I can guarantee that you will die one day and that's about it. If an advertiser if guaranteeing you success with his or hers products, my suggestion is to be cautious, read the reviews and really think about it before committing.

Make Millions of $$$ - This one should be an easy one - move on and don't waste your time. Is it possible to make a million dollars a year as an affiliate marketer? Yeah, all things within reason are possible, but I would guess that 99% of the people who jump into the affiliate marketing arena are making far less than that.

How I make over $10,000 a month - I see a lot of ads from people claiming they're earning $10k-$12k a month from a particular product. Some even show their bank accounts or their marketplace accounts and the large account balances as a means of validating their claims. Let me just say this: As I do believe the earnings are possible, especially for the committed, full-time marketer. I do not believe the majority of the claims. I cannot tell you the number of claimants I've followed up on whose websites disappeared 2 to 3 months after their ad campaign started or after releasing an amazing video declaring to the world this money-making secret they want to share. It's easy to fake the bank statements and their account balances, even if they're logging into the account live on video. I don't know about you, but if I was earning $10,000+ a month (legally) selling a product or service, I don't think I would shut down my website for any reason, even if I had a bad month or two... and neither would you.

Overnight - Another red flag. If they're promising some form of overnight success or any variation thereof like "within 48 hours" or " the first 7 days", the red flags should be going up. Here again, this is just another variation of "guaranteed".

Price - Beware of the price. I understand that sometimes it takes money to make money. There are times when we need the help of an expert or to use the services of a professional who can do it faster or better than I can. But we need to be reasonable and practical with our finances. More times than not I've seen people dump a lot of money into every product, service or feature enhancement they can sink their teeth into in an effort to achieve an impractical goal - making a lot of money as fast as possible. I won't say anymore than this about the price of a product: If the item is priced less than $50 and the majority of the reviews are positive, then go for it. But anything above that amount and especially if it's a monthly charge, you really need to do your due diligence and know what others are saying about the product before investing.

Is Affiliate Marketing a Scam?

Like a lot of things in life, it can be. But there are plenty of quality products out there produced by honest, hardworking people and I wouldn't hesitate a second to buy or even promote any of those products. Therefore, it is important that you do your homework before investing money into somebody's eBook or software or whatever program they are offering. Affiliate Marketing is opportunity for the person who is looking for a reasonable and practical means of earning a secondary income from a home based business.

I Want to Become an Affiliate Marketer

Like I stated earlier - Affiliate Marketing provides an easy and practical means for just about anybody to earn a secondary income from their home. After all, working from home is quickly becoming a normal way of doing business and for the stay-at-home moms or dads, the disabled or anybody looking for a way to enhance their lives, a home based business is a blessing.

You can get started with very little money. I'm talking less than $50. All you really need is a laptop or a PC and an internet connection, which I'm assuming most of us already have. You'll need to build a website and before that you will need to decide on a niche or what your site will be about. Afterwards, you will want to find some products to promote on your website. Sign up with one of the popular Affiliate Marketplace websites and you are good to go.

Final Thoughts

Affiliate Marketing can provide a secondary income and is not a waste of time for the committed person willing to do what it takes to make it work and grow their business. Making $500-$1000 a month is a reasonable goal when first starting out. However, this will not happen overnight. It takes time! You can expect about 2 to 3 months of working on your site, improving the SEO, adding content and writing posts and submitting articles before you'll see enough traffic to your website that can offer a steady stream of income within that range. People are inherently lazy and many times will stop before things get started. Success requires work, otherwise wait for the lottery.

Once your first site is up and running efficiently things become easier and you won't need to spend as much time working on it. Just a little maintenance here and there and submitting new articles at a rate of one to two times a week. At this point nothing is stopping you from duplicating your efforts with a second website. Find another niche that people are looking for and build another site. Your second website might do even better or maybe a little less than your first, but my point is this - Don't Stop! The potential for making a full-time income as an affiliate marketer by adding more and more sites as time and money permits is highly practical. It is not unreasonable to expect to one day be able to surpass the salary you earn from your employer, but it will take some time. If you do your research, work hard, stay committed and set reasonable goals that day will come.

The Novice and Affiliate Marketing

Affiliate marketing is a great way to either replace your current employment or supplement your income. It requires great diligence to study and learn this market. What is affiliate marketing, you may ask? In general, this type of marketing is when a company pays you a commission or a percentage for your sales. When a company decides to allow others to sell their products they will start an affiliate program. As an affiliate to these companies you have choices on how you will go about promoting the products or services of the companies. It requires you to have your own website for someone to look at then the product is purchased through a unique affiliate link. You can utilize your own website or use a link to the company's product by using social media sites through clicks.

Once you begin to research this method of marketing you will notice the amount of companies that utilize an affiliate program. Some of these pay one time commissions on a sale; others such as Google AdSense offer it on a click by click basis. Some may even offer a lifetime commission. Others pay per lead. Companies may also just give a free trial or samples of a product in exchange for a name and email. For example, to get approved for an affiliate program with a company such as Google and their AdSense program you will need a site that is filled with new, fresh, and interesting content. The best site type for this is one related to a blog. Google pays attention to sites set up as blogs due to its fresh daily or weekly content. Having a static site does not get your site a high rank with Google. In addition, focusing on one niche and a group of products vs. a garage sale type of site will bring much more success. Other affiliate programs to consider would be ClickBank.com, Amazon.com, GoDaddy.com and HostGator.com.

As with any new venture you will be challenged. You may even begin to experience self-doubt. The important mindset to have from the beginning is that this is a marathon not a sprint.

Suggestions:

• Get involved with a group of online bloggers.

• Attend seminars with other affiliate marketers and entrepreneurs

• Utilize YouTube for video and begin following other entrepreneurs; I have listed a few of my favorite below:

    Lisa Irby of 2creatawebsite.com
    Maria Forleo at MariaForleo.com
Matt Morris, Author of The Unemployed Millionaire
    David Siteman Garland of RiseToTheTop.com

• Once you start with an affiliate network get yourself acquainted with the site and the terms of service.

• If you choose to do a niche blog, find campaigns that deal with your niche's topic.

• On your blog or website, be sure to choose ads and links that are relevant to your niche topic.

Overall, the key to this business is being focused and passionate. Remind yourself why you decided to do this. Maybe you have debt that you want to pay off. Or just want to supplement the family income so your wife can stay home with your new baby. Maybe you want to quit that stressful job. No matter what it is important to stay the course and remain vigilante to achieving your overall goal. This is a very lucrative business with limitless potential.

Understanding ClickBank Gravity - Bigger Is NOT Better

I've read a lot of books on affiliate marketing over the years. Considering that dozens come out every single day, it's really not too difficult. Anyways, there's something a bit disturbing that I've noticed. When most of these guides are teaching you about ClickBank's gravity numbers, they give you bad advice!

Yup- promoting ClickBank products with the highest gravity is NOT a good idea. How can I say that?

Why am I going against what 95% of guides out there are saying? I have a few reasons- let me count the ways:

Reason #1: High Gravity Means High Competition

Gravity doesn't tell you how well the product converts, or how many copies sell each month. Nope- all it tells you is how many affiliates have made sales promoting that product. And I'm sure you realize that not every affiliate promoting it will make a sale. Let's say it's 1/10.

So if a product has a gravity of 100, that means at least 1,000 affiliates are promoting it! Over 400? You probably have at least 4,000 affiliates promoting that bad boy. That's insane. If half of them are doing SEO, you're fighting against 2,000 affiliates for those #1 spots in Google. Good luck with that.

Meanwhile, let's talk about a product with a gravity of 7. Using the example of 1/10 mentioned above, that means we might have 70 affiliates promoting it. Those odds are much, much friendlier.

Reason #2: Gravity Has No Relation to Conversion Rate

If you're an affiliate, you want to promote products with good sales pages. It just makes sense- the better the sales page converts, the more money you'll make. But a product with high gravity may not convert well. The product owner may have taken it for granted that tons of affiliates hopped on board. When that happens, they may not bother testing new things to help the sales page convert better. Instead they just sit back and watch the money roll in.

After all, if you're making tons of bank, why change anything? Your affiliates are doing all the hard work!

Meanwhile, a product owner with much fewer affiliates can't afford that luxury. They'll keep tweaking and testing the sales page until it converts like crazy. You'd be surprised at the quality of some of the "unpopular" ClickBank products. If you are sending good traffic to them, don't be surprised to have conversions at 5-10%.

The bottom line is that looking at gravity doesn't mean squat regarding conversions.

Reason #3: High Refund Rates Can Kill

You know those IM products with super-high gravities? Check out the refund rates on them sometime. They are amazingly high. Some reach 40-50%. Why would you want to promote something like that? It was obviously not a good product, and people jumped on the bandwagon without realizing what they were buying. Not good.

If you're trying to build a real business, you get paid to help solve people's problems. It's as simple as that. If you are trying to make a quick buck but not really solve their problem, they'll catch on and unsubscribe. That's why you should pay attention to a product's refund rate. This is a good way to judge a product's quality without having to actually buy it yourself. (That said- I highly recommend buying a product before you promote it!)

Is gravity affected by refund rates? Nope. So it's not much use here. Instead you have to look into using a service or website that tells you product refund rates.

Reason #4: One Time Offers, Upsells, Downsells, and More

This has gotten very bad in the IM field, but it is found in other niches as well. It's getting to the point that the front end product is just a piece of candy. Once you grab the candy, thieves pounce on you to take everything you've got.

One reason for high refund rates is due to these marketing kinds of tactics. Making money on the backend works well if done right, but tons of product owners just abuse their customers.

A bad thing about ClickBank gravity is that it doesn't tell you anything about how many people purchase the upsells or downsells, how much money to expect from them, if they're useful, etc. If you send subscribers to a product just because it has high gravity, they might be in for pop-up and upsell hell. Don't put them through that.

Reason #5: People Purchase through their Own Affiliate Links

This is a huge, huge one- especially in the IM niche. I bet that if an IM product has a gravity of 200, about 150 of those points come from people buying through their own links. Even in the non-IM niches, people purchase through their own links if they want to see the product and review it.

This alone should tell you that gravity isn't the most useful field. So what if Profit Explosion Avalanche Membership Dynamite has a gravity of 300? It only sold a total number of 500 copies last month. Meanwhile, Actually Useful Relationship Product Y sold 5000 copies, with a much better conversion rate.

Conclusion

I know that these newbie guides aren't solely relying on gravity to choose a product. But what I'm saying is that you should use it differently than most. Don't promote those high-gravity products. Look at those with low gravity, have a great sales page, and quality product. Once you've found a few of those, you're golden.

The Ugly Truth About Review-Affiliate Web Sites

Like many of you I always strive to get the best of the best or else the best value for money I can afford. Researching and investigating a product or service online is what makes the internet great! You don't get bombarded by sales people and you are not pressurized into making a decision on the spot! However, the internet is not all sunshine and rainbows as I'm sure you've come to experience and unfortunately there are many dark corners lurking in unsuspecting places.

That brings me to my point, the truth about review sites. Google any popular item on the internet and you will be overwhelmed with results from review sites freely offering their opinion on what is the greatest and why. You may think "Wow, this will help me narrow down my options!". But unknowingly you end up purchasing a lemon because of two words, and I can't put this more succinctly: affiliate marketing.

What is Affiliate Marketing?

Affiliate marketing is the marketing of a product or service on behalf of a third-party in exchange for commission or payout per successful sale. "I've found this amazing product, and look there is a discount if you click here!", sound familiar? Does it now put the review into perspective?

Hosting is extremely competitive, and probably the most competitive. Why? The internet is the fastest growing medium in the world, full stop. What do you need to grow the internet? Space, and lots of it which is provided by hosting companies. Because it is so competitive, hosts have attractive incentives for their affiliate marketers. Payouts range from $60 to $200 and increase in order to get to the top of prominent reviewers lists. That is a lot of money when considering the host wont even recover that amount from their new client within the first two years. Which begs the question, where does the hosts priorities lie, and where are most of their resources going? Customer care, upgrading servers? Right.

Hosting is extremely competitive, and probably the most competitive. Why? The internet is the fastest growing medium in the word, full stop.
How do I know if review sites are genuine?

It's not always possible to determine whether a review is genuine or fake. But there are questions you can ask yourself to weed out the worst.

Check if there are affiliate programs offered with the service you are interested in. Judging by how much they offer, and how it is offered. Keep in mind, that this is a sliding scale and marketers always barter for better rates in return for better reviews.
Ask yourself is it logically possible for the reviewer to single-handedly review all these products or services?
Compare the reviews with other review websites to see if there are any discrepancies or contradictions, with customer service, value for money etc...
Does the reviewer allow users to comment about the product or service? No product or service is perfect, if every comment is in favour be very suspicious.
Does the reviewer update the site on a regular basis?
Most importantly, is the review completely one-sided with very little negative aspects to point out? This is often a telltale sign.

Those are just some things to look out for. But mostly you'll get a gut feel when reading these reviews, if something doesn't feel right it more than likely isn't. Another trend I've been seeing with these unscrupulous marketers is the use of negative keywords such as "service x sucks" in their websites, as they have caught on people are trying to find bad reviews to try work out the truth! Again, these reviews are all one-sided and try lead the reader into believing the service or product is amazing!

How to Get More Referrals for Your Business?

Suppose you have a business and you want to grow it. But you don't know how? There are many ways to improve your business reputation. Apart from your product or service quality, marketing also plays a major role. There are many ways to market your business. Referral marketing is one of them. Nowadays it is considered as a major tool to achieve business growth. Why?

Along with the increase in the global population there comes the increased competition and opportunities. Everybody wants a share of the pie. When your service or product is good, the satisfied customer will definitely speak to others about it. This way actually your customer is marketing to others without expecting or charging any fee for it. That is because the customer is satisfied about the product so he wholeheartedly and voluntarily praises in front of friends and others.

This way you are getting referrals for your business. It helps you to grow further. On the opposite side if your customer is not satisfied with the service then there is a possibility that he may criticize about it in front of many more people there by denting your reputation. Customer with bad experience may give you more negative publicity than a happy customer can give positive reference.

So it is always better to be good to your customers before selling anything or after selling anything. A prompt and courteous after sales service is very critical in getting long-term benefits. A highly satisfied customer always gets you a good number of Referrals and they are of recurring and passive in nature. In the sense it is like a chain reaction of referrals you get about your business from different satisfied customers.

Either you can ask each individual customer who is satisfied with your product or service to refer others to you voluntarily. Or you can offer some kind of rewards and extra benefits for the each successful referral to whom you sell more products. Word of mouth publicity is very important and psychologically most effective form of marketing today. People often trust their friends or neighbors more confidently about the pros and cons of your business. They tend to go with the opinion of others who have already availed of your services. This way you can get unlimited number of referrals from happy customers which in turn increase your business volume substantially in the long run and get you the more revenue.

Affiliate Marketing Techniques That Work

Affiliate marketing is one of the easiest ways to make money online. However, many people will do things that hinder their ability to get results from online marketing. The truth is, marketing products is something that anyone can do. But in order for you to succeed with marketing affiliate products, you must first develop your skills as an online marketer. Here are some things you should consider adding to your arsenal:

The first on the list is article marketing. I cannot tell you enough how important this technique is. If you want high quality traffic going to your affiliate offers, you must write articles. An article does much more than get people to your products and services. Articles build relationships with the people you want to do business with. However, if you cannot commit yourself to write several times per day, marketing with articles will not work so well for you. But if you can be patient and write often, things will get very fun for you.

I love forums. Forum marketing is one of the easiest ways to network with the people who would be most likely to buy your products. If you can establish yourself as someone who is eager to help others, forums might just be your best option. You see, forums are online communities of like-minded individuals who are looking to help one another. If you can become recognized as the person who is willing to help others, who do you think will come knocking on your door when you have something to sell? Simply awesome!

Everyone knows the power of building a list. But have you succeeded with list building? Many people think that list building is all about spamming people with affiliate offers. This is horribly wrong. If you want to get the best results with affiliate marketing, you must establish a relationship with the people on your list. Help them solve their problems. Recommend free resources that they can use to better themselves. This is of the utmost importance if you want to sell your products often.

Marketing online can truly be fun. I hope you decide to establish your credibility online and help others. There are so many ways to make money with affiliate products. Be sure to stay away from the unethical marketing techniques, and use the methods I mentioned above. I'll be looking for your success story very soon! Until then, get out there and start selling some products.

Affiliate Marketing Tips - 3 Great Places To Learn Affiliate Marketing

The challenge to learn affiliate marketing can be pretty easy if you are the type of person that easily learns new things. There are a lot of things to learn though so you have to be prepared to spend a considerable amount of time reading and trying, and I have to say, not always with a visible success. But if you are that type of person that can last through bad times, you will eventually make a profitable carer in this filed, cause this is one of the fields that rewards people with this kind of mindset. For me affiliate marketing was a love at first sight and to learn affiliate marketing was really interesting. I already had some knowledge about computers and how the web works, and I love writing so I combined those things together to form what is now a great career in this field. But not all successful marketers are like that, some of the ones I know don't find affiliate marketing very interesting, they are in it for the money, and they were not afraid of the initial learning curve that was presented in front of them. To learn affiliate marketing is a process that takes time but the good news is there are shortcuts as well. I guess that this business is filed with people with different interests and backgrounds, and that's what makes competition fierce, But at the end remember one thing, competition breeds success.

If you are a newcomer you will find this very informative because I am going to talk about some of the places which can help you start your career. Keep in mind that this are not the only places where you can get help but are the most common ones. Feel free to search in different places,a cause different people learn things in different manner.

The number one place to seek for guidance is an affiliate marketing coach. That's a person that's been in the businesses for a long time and now he is basing his business model by taking people to the rocky roads to success that he once had to take. There are several well-known coaches that lead numerous groups of people, and the result is always the success, that is if the student takes the time and work needed in order to succeed. There are several coaches who feel more comfortable leading smaller group of people, that way they're creating a more personal approach and the results are achieved faster. Either way, you go make sure to choose a reputable one because this field is plagued by scammers and rippers as well. Beware of fairly anonymous people with bad reviews, who have no money back guarantee. If you make the right choice you can start earning nice amount of money in no time, so choose carefully.

The second place where you can find advice is by working with couple of newcomers. That way you can be sure that you will overcome the learning curve quite fast and plus you will have a lot of fun doing it. There are a lot of people out there, so be sure to pick the ones you share the same interests with. You will also feel like you are being a part of a whole and that will definitely boost your productivity. Picking up the right group is hard, but if you find the right one there is nothing stopping you.

The last place to look for people is an affiliate marketing forum. There are a lot of forums out there, so it's relatively easy to find one. I always hang around forums in which the members are productive and they are openly discussing their strategies, that's mostly a good way to learn affiliate marketing. But, sometimes a forum can be a wrong place to start for beginner because the amount of new information can be overwhelming and some of the forums are pretty hard to newbies. However as you advance in your career, you can always ask some question that's bothering you in a forum and most certainly you will get myriad of opinions and solutions. Make sure to contribute to the community because it's not only about taking it's also about sharing

To conclude there are a lot of ways for the aspiring affiliate marketer. Make sure to check some of the coaching programs because they are a sure road to success. Ask for a second opinion in forums and always work in groups or at least with a partner, that makes life so much easier.

How to Earn Money From Home: Affiliate Marketing

The number of monthly searches on the internet about how to earn money from home has kept growing over the past few years. This has been as a result of many of the wealth generating opportunities shifting to the internet.

There is an opportunity that exists on the internet where you can start generating income as early as TODAY and it is called Affiliate Marketing.

Affiliate marketing is an online business model, where a dealer (affiliate) links seller's product/service to a buyer. The compensation terms vary for a product/service that is bought as a result of a link done by the affiliate, but it generally takes the following form:

"Pay per click": when you redirect the buyer to the merchant from your affiliated site whether they buy the product or not.
"Pay per sale": where a commission is made for each sale.
"Pay per lead": once a referred buyer provides his contact by filling a contact form.

Here, I show you how to earn money from home with affiliate marketing.

1. Identify a product/service that you can promote with passion and be able to do it in your write-ups. Read around the product/ service to make sure your knowledge is broad enough and well rounded.

2. Invest in an Income Generating website. With this, the investment is low; only the web hosting fees. You will not need to invest in any physical logistics that can be identified with traditional businesses for instance no rent, furniture, etc.

How To Make Money Online With An Automated System

Making money online has become a little easier and a little more competitive at the same time.

It used to be that a few people on the internet new all the methods of making money online but it has transitioned into a bunch of people learning how to do the same thing.

Many people have taken advantage of systems to be able to simplify the process so that a person who is trying to do it part time can actually be as successful as the person who is full time.

If a new person is trying to start an affiliate marketing business online it will take them approximately a few months if to get started if they are doing it par time.

The reason is that all of the following elements are required to be successful.

A blog or website is needed to be able to send targeted traffic to a product or service.

Then, a product is needed in order to sell it because it is the only way to make money. The great thing about affiliate marketing is that you dont' have to sell your own product.

Another piece that is needed is a capture page to get the email address from the visitors to your blog to be able to follow up with that lead later on.

Then, a sales video is required in order to sell the product that you are affiliated with. Not to mention the traffic generation strategies that you have to learn to make this entire process work.

With the above process required to make money online its no wonder most people never make any money.

Its a full time job just to get all of this setup. However, there is a way to leverage a system that can automate most of this process.

The way you use a system is by simply connecting with a person who owns a system that can have a product for you to sell, a capture page for you to use, a website for you ready to use, and a sales letter or video to convert visitors into customers.

A system can completely automate a few of the most challenging problems most people face when they are just starting to market online and the only thing they have to focus on is getting traffic to the system.

This has become one of the best ways to make money online with a system and it is the simplest way for anyone looking to make money online to get started.

Key Benefits Of Affiliate Marketing

Since I decided to take the plunge 5 years ago and start working for myself as an online marketer, affiliate marketing has been the best thing I ever got involved in and is now part of my daily schedule.

It is without doubt something that all people who are interested in starting an online business or those who already have an online business, should investigate and take up.

If you are undecided or have little knowledge about affiliate marketing then I hope that you find the below information helpful and that it will clear up any doubts that you have over what the key benefits of affiliate marketing are.

1. Commission basis

For the affiliate marketer this is a key advantage as every time that somebody makes a purchase, the affiliate receives a set commission of the profit.

For the affiliate merchant this is an advantage as they only pay the marketer when they make a sale, so no money is wasted on marketing spend.

2. Huge audience

For the affiliate marketer - having built up various marketing lists or websites, they can make use of their huge audience base and ensure that the traffic they send over to the merchant is qualified and that sales are made, making the affiliate more money.

For the affiliate merchant - they receive access to a wider audience base than they may have had before, creating more interest in their products, resulting in more sales and all without investing any more money or time.

3. Ease

For the affiliate marketer - once they have set up their additional sites and links across to the merchant, it is very simple to manage and often affiliates will continue to make money from sales without having done anything for months.

For the affiliate merchant - they do not have to invest time and money writing content or creating expensive images in order to promote their services/ products. Instead affiliates will apply to be a part of their programme and all the merchant need do is have many affiliates all working towards promoting their products/ services and wait for the sales to flood in.

4. Steady cost

For the affiliate marketer - building on the last point, an affiliate can keep receiving commission from sales of a product or service for years, despite not doing a lot of work to promote it. You do need to invest time at the start but then you have a regular source of income coming in for the market life of the service/ product.

For the affiliate merchant - they set up all the costs so the chance to make a huge profit on sales without having spent much on marketing, is very likely. They do not have to pay their affiliates much per sale to make the business relationship worthwhile, as it tends to work best on a quantity basis so everyone is happy with the set amounts.

5. Brand Visibility

For the affiliate - there is a lot to be gained reputation wise from working with a range of brands and you will find that you get a lot more work should you be able to prove that you have succeeded with others in the past.

For the affiliate merchant - they receive free brand exposure on a continual basis, which is never a bad thing. If you have many affiliates working on promoting your brand, you'll soon see a boost in search engine rankings and online sales; Amazon.com is an excellent example of where this has worked in the past.

6. Outsourced expertise

For the affiliate marketer - they get the continued experience to improve and work on their methods of online marketing, investing only their time, not money.

For the affiliate merchant - they will be able to utilise all kinds of affiliates who are experts in SEM (search engine marketing) and SEO (search engine optimisation) without investing a lot of money, yet still manage to get to the top of Google rankings.

7. Transparency

For the affiliate marketer - through the various affiliate programmes, it is possible to see exactly when sales are made and payment is automatic, so you do not have to worry about chasing merchants for payments.

For the affiliate merchant - they can see and manage their R.O.I (return on investment) extremely easily and do not have to worry about tracking the origin of each sale.

8. Online market

For the affiliate marketer - there are an endless number of affiliate programmes out there and the demand for online shopping is not going to decrease, so the earning potential for affiliates is huge. You can access any number of markets with your affiliate work, whether you choose jewellery, hygiene, pet insurance or food.

Use long tail pro to find targeted long tail keywords with low competition, ensuring maximum affiliate sale for you.

For the affiliate merchant - as previously mentioned, online demand is not going away any time soon, therefore merchants are able to continue to expand product ranges to meet a range of online markets with the knowledge that they have a number of affiliates on hand to promote quickly and at a low cost.

9. Home-based work (aimed at affiliate marketer)

If you become successful in the world of affiliate marketing then it is entirely possible to create a long term Passive Income from it and a huge bonus to this is that you can work cheaply from home and be your own boss. You don't have to pay to sign up to affiliate programmes and there are a huge number to choose from, all from the comfort of your own home.

10. Overcoming tradition (aimed at affiliate merchant)

Using affiliates to promote your products and services will guarantee that you receive a lot more exposure than you would by using more pricey traditional marketing methods. Having a number of affiliates promoting what you are selling and only being paid when a sale is made, is one of the most cost effective marketing methods ever as well as being incredibly successful.

How to Do Money Making Online

The Internet has shaped the way people communicate, do business, and earn income. The fact that people can earn money from home by working online may be something of a surprise to many people. However, it is true that people can make money online. This goes beyond just selling old stuff on marketplace websites; there are actual jobs that can pay a living wage to those willing to put in the time and effort.

For example, one way to make money online is to perform simple tasks for a small reward. Certain websites are set up to provide users with multiple tasks while exposing them to advertisements. These advertisements bring in revenue for the website, with part of that revenue going to the worker's pay. Examples of tasks include watching video clips, performing web searches, and filling out forms.

Another way to make money online is to participate in surveys. There are many websites that link to multiple different surveys, each of which caters to a different demographic. A person fitting the description of a target demographic can participate for a small reward. These surveys help scientific research, and they also provide cash for the participants. They are a win for both the researchers and the researched.

Search engine optimization companies hire writers to produce articles relating to their client's websites. These articles are posted on article directory websites, which produce links to client websites. Each article must be unique so that they can have a positive effect on the page ranking of a website. For people who don't mind writing on a variety of topics, this job can provide a decent income.

For those with specialized skills, freelance websites provide a means for matching freelancers with clients. There are many different types of contracts available on such websites. For example, there are data entry jobs, graphic design jobs, web design jobs, and even software development jobs. Anyone with a specialized skill can place a bid on a contract. The most qualified freelancer who places the most reasonably priced bid will likely win the contract, which allows them to work on the task. Successful freelancers tend to have a portfolio rich with examples of their previous work. These contracts can provide a living wage for people with specialized skillsets and impressive portfolios.

Working from home through the Internet is a valid way to earn a living. Whether a person simply wants to earn a few dollars clicking on links, or earn a living wage by providing a special skill, the Internet provides many different jobs. These jobs can help the unemployed make ends meet while looking for steadier employment opportunities, or they can provide enough income to act as a surrogate for more traditional jobs.

Getting Lots Of Traffic To Your Affiliate Site

I think it's a safe bet to say that anyone who owns a website wants to have a steady flow of good quality traffic coming to their site, reading the content and going on to buy a product or become a subscriber to a monthly publication or similar. There are countless sites of all different niches promoting stuff all with the same goal in mind - getting more traffic to turn into sales. But let's focus on the traffic part for now

If you're new to the affiliate marketing industry or even just looking at it to find out how it works you may find yourself asking what affiliate traffic is, this article is going to cover a bit about affiliate traffic and how you can get more of it to your site. In short affiliate traffic is visitors directed to a website where a merchant sells the product but arrives via a referring website.

Let me give you an example:

A neighbor in my street who I see from time to time is passionate about photography and whenever I see him the conversation soon turns toward cameras and photography.

I suggested to him one day, Dave, why don't you do something that can turn your knowledge into an income, have you ever thought about having your own website all about photography? You are always talking about it and never seem to run out of things to say when it comes to the subject.

He pondered for a moment then took off. There was definitely a change that took place in Dave after that chat. Anyway, a few days passed before I saw him again and he had a noticeable change in his step and a glint in his eye that I'd not seen before. He told me how he was in the process of getting a site set up all geared towards photography but was asking questions about how to get people to his site and start generating an income.

Have you thought about becoming an affiliate and recommending someone else's product?

No, he replied.

Have a look on Amazon, there are countless camera and photography products available through their outlets, some of which would be suited to what you are doing, why not give that a try. And off he went again.

Another week passed before I saw Dave again and he told me how he'd found several products he was promoting on his site as an affiliate.

This is how affiliate traffic is created.

And this is the way anyone would get started with getting affiliate traffic to their site. Choose a niche, in Dave's case photography, but preferably something you have a passion for and knowledge of, and from there start promoting that niche.

ZNZ One and ZNZ BigCash, Is It Legit?

Founded on July 14th, 2007, ZNZ One is an online business opportunity that promotes many Fortune 500 companies such as Big Games, Netflix and Blockbuster to name a few so people who work from home can find new ways to make money online. The ability to make money online is a relatively rare skill, not because of a lack of opportunities, but the knowledge of how to make it work.

The ZNZ big cash system essentially sets you up as a recruiter who gets others to try out the products from one of these companies for a set period of time. Basically, these companies offer trial periods that can last a few days up to a month or longer. If the customer likes the service, they can keep it and pay the subscription rate and if they don't like it they can cancel after the set period of time has been reached.

To make money online with ZNZ One, you get these people to try out these services through your website. You get paid if a customer signs up for the trial offer. Basically, this is a tried and true affiliate market program that simply gives you a wide number of businesses to work with where you refer to them customers to sign up for trial programs.

A big question that many people have when starting a new online business about ZNZ One is whether such an opportunity is a scam or is it real? ZNZ, which stands for ZipNadaZilch, is not a scam, but more like a clearing house for respected businesses to offer commissions for those who recruit customers to what they have to offer.

Affiliate marketing is one of the most respected and reliable forms of making money online. The affiliate marketing works with a well established business to earn commissions each time a customer signs up with a business. There is nothing for an affiliate marketer to purchase, no stock to carry and no set working hours. You make money with one of the companies offered through ZNZ One each time you make a "sale" so to speak.

The upside is that the profit potential is enormous since you can make as much money as you want. The trick is however in getting potential customers to pay for the services of these companies. One downside is that many people have heard of these Fortune 500 companies so earning a profit will take some research, effort and creating a website that attracts a large number of people.

For example, if you love movies you can create a website that is devoted to a certain genre of films. The more narrow and directed you make this niche, the better as you will attract a certain line of readers. On your website you can offer subscriptions from Netflix or Blockbuster which coincide with the topic of your website. This is only one of the methods as you can choose from the many businesses provided by ZNZ One.

How to Make Money With AdSense - A Step-By-Step Guide

How to Make Money with AdSense - This article will outline a simple way to make money with AdSense. For those of you who do not know, AdSense are the targeted ads that Google places on your site. When a visitor to your site clicks on one of those Ads, you get paid. The amount of money that you get paid is a percentage of the amount that the advertiser is paying Google for the click.

There are pros and cons to attempting to make money with AdSense.

Pros -

1. You don't have to do any selling to make money with AdSense- This is a great way for a new person to get paid. All you have to do is create content that attract users to the page and you get paid for every click on the Ads. This can be a lot simpler than other monetization strategies where you have to also sell the user to make money.

2. It is simple to set up - Google makes it very easy to set up the Ads. If you use a WordPress blog, there are plug-ins that are available that allow you to place your AdSense ads with very little effort.

Cons -

1. You have to be very careful of Google's Terms of Services if you wish to make money with AdSense - Google has some strict terms of service (TOS). If you are not careful, you will find that your AdSense Account is banned overnight and, once you are banned, it is very challenging to get your account back.

2. It takes a lot of traffic to make a lot of money - Because it is simple to get clicks, you also will not get paid as much as you may with other methods of monetization. It will take quite a bit of traffic and high revenue clicks to make some good money.

Here are steps to get started quickly with setting up your AdSense Income. They key to making this strategy work is to come up with a formula to create sites in bulk. If you put all of your eggs into one or a few baskets, you may come up disappointed because that site may be a flop.

Steps Performed on How to Make Money with AdSense:

1. Do Keyword Research - You want to find a high traffic keyword with low competition. If you Google, keyword research, you will find multiple strategies for performing your research. The key is to pick a strategy that is quick and that can be replicated.

2. Acquire hosting - My favorite hosting company is HostGator.com (only because I have been using them for years). Do a Google search for 'Hosting Coupon Code' and you will find some deals on discounted hosting. Expect to pay between $3.00 and $25 for hosting per month when all is said and done.

3. Acquire 6 domains - I would suggest doing the research to set up six sites. The reason that I suggest six domains is that you get a bulk purchase discount with Godaddy.com if you acquire six or more domains at any one time.

4. Setup a WordPress Blog - The HostGator account has wizards that will allow you to easily set up a WordPress blog. There are strategies for adding plug-ins, etc. to tour blog but keep your setup simple at the beginning.

5. Write between 5 and 10 articles for your first blog - Keep in my mind that these articles do not have to be perfect. Spend about 20 to 25 minutes on each article. Just put your headphones on and start writing. Some people suggest outsourcing the articles. However, in the beginning, I recommend you write your own articles so that you can get the feel or how it works.

6. Sign up for an AdSense Account - You can apply for your account here - Sign Up for an AdSense Account. You need to have at least one site complete to use as a sample of your work to sign up for an AdSense Account.

7. Place AdSense Ads on your site - There are a lot of lessons online that will tell you how to do this. In the beginning go with a simple strategy.

8. Work on Off Page SEO - This is getting links to your site. Determine a simple strategy that will give you diversified links that you can repeat over and over again or have somebody else repeat over and over again.

9. Build the content for the other five sites - Once you have the first site built with content, rinse and repeat building content and building links to the remaining five sites.

10. Assess revenue after 90 days - Determine how much revenue you are getting after 90 days.

11. Determine if you are going to build out the site more or sell the site - The best way to make money with AdSense is to sell the site. The simplest place to sell your sites is on Flippa.com. You can sell and AdSense site for between 8X and 25X monthly income. If the site is making $100 per month, then you can seek it for between $800 and $2,500.

12. Reinvest 40% of your earnings into building more sites - Once you sell a set of your sites, you can reinvest the earnings back into building more sites.

Follow the 12 steps above and you will be well on your way to making a decent AdSense income. The key to your success will be to come up with a replicable process and follow it until you get to a place where you are making a predictable profit on each site.

Keep in mind that this is not a make money from AdSense strategy that will have you get rich overnight, but it will allow you to make slow and steady income for the long term if performed correctly.

Batman and Robin's Favorite Marketing Strategy

Remember the old cartoons and comic books? We all know Batman and Robin. The good guys that come out and catch the bad guys when nobody else can. A friend to the police and the surrounding communities. The weirdest idea came into my mind the other night while going through a tremendous network marketing course on "traffic." I really don't know why but sometimes it is best not to think of "why" an idea came into your mind. You just have to run with it. Sometimes those are the best thoughts! I wrote down the title "Batman and Robin's Favorite Marketing Plan" so I would be able to get back to the thought at a later time.

This is IT!

In my mind I likened Batman and Robin's relationship as affiliate marketing. If you know anything at all about affiliate marketing you know that a reputable company allows someone to buy into their system or sometimes even get into their system for next to nothing. When this person advertises this company's products/services a commission is given to this particular person. If you think about it this is Batman and Robin. Batman is the reputable company. He has credibility to his name, people trust him, and he has the solved cases and success to back him up. Then there's Robin. Without Batman, what is Robin? Really he is nothing. Robin is not going to run around the dark streets and alleyways kicking the bad guys butt by himself, is he? I don't think so... He acts as Batman's sidekick and reaps the benefits of hanging around with Batman. Let's switch back for a minute to affiliate marketing. I understand that some top marketers actively engage in affiliate marketing and they should. There are benefits to be reaped from this and a veteran marketer has enough experience to really customize this process and make it work for them and their "already established" business in some really cool ways. But let's talk about a new marketer for a minute.. Someone that is just getting into the industry and really doesn't know a lot of what they need to do but they know that there are great benefits to be reaped by actively partnering with the reputable and already successful company. The new marketer here is Robin, remember that!

Robin comes in to partner with Batman and gets a brand new outfit and all the bells and whistles to gain credibility in their niche of catching bad guys. He has it made. He just helps Batman with his duties and prospers.

THE PROBLEM

Where did Robin go? I have not really heard much out of him lately.. Have you? Robin had the ability from learning from Batman to become his own person and catch his own bad guys and become "like" Batman himself but it seems that he gave up. This is the same deal with affiliate marketers. They run hard with the company for a while and then they just quit. There are many reasons that this happens but the point is, they had many resources available to them and "everything" that they needed to be successful but they were missing the dedication and stickability. When it comes down to it, I don't want to be the Robin. I want to move past Robin and become the Batman.

WHAT TO DO

Stop wasting time and dropping the ball on the programs that you start working with. Quit bouncing from one offer to the next thinking that the "offer" is going to make your wildest dreams come true. Build your business on a firm foundation and keep it there. Don't make the same mistakes that Robin did.

An Affiliate Marketer's Typical Day

Being an affiliate marketer has come a long, long way since the days of communicating in writing or by telephone. 5 Common Newbie Mistakes

Before you quit your job and announce you official retirement, there are a few things that you should know about internet marketing. Although it sounds incredibly easy, and even though it sounds like you can really make money overnight, IT IS NOT THAT SIMPLE!

Sadly, if you want to make money, then you must do a lot of work. Sometimes part of that work is just avoiding the common pitfalls and mistake that most people make. Well here are a few very common mistakes that if you avoid will shorten your learning curve and put you on the fast track to making money online.

Common Mistake #1: Believing The Hype

That includes the hype even in the programs that you are promoting. Majority of affiliate marketers make less than $500 A YEAR through their online business, so it would be foolish to believe that you can just jump right in to any program and make a million dollars overnight without any work at all.

When you see a program like this, it is just preying on the new marketers who have not really learned a scam when they see it. Don't believe the hype, believe that you can make money online, but also believe that it will take time and effort to do so.

Common Mistake #2: Lack Of Planning

If you fail to plan, then you plan to fail. You HAVE heard this quote before, and for good reason. It is absolutely true. You must have a detailed goal before you can make any legitimate money online. Most people just have the vague idea that they are going to set out on the journey with the purpose of making a lot of money. That DOES NOT WORK! You must set up real, and feasible, goals. Don't just say that you want to make a million dollars in a month, you are new to this game so that is not quite feasible yet. Get a good plan and you'll be okay.

Common Mistake #3: Advertising Your Affiliate Link

I already know what you're thinking. If I don't advertise my affiliate link, then HOW TO HECK DO I MAKE MONEY! Well it is simple. You must make a website, and then you can place your affiliate links within it. Every internet marketer and their mother just randomly advertises their affiliate link, so in order for you to stand out you must do something radically different. Creating a website is how you stand out.

Common Mistake #4: Quitting

You have been working with internet marketing for a good few months, and you have little or nothing to show for it; certainly not enough to quit your job. You can't get discouraged, you have to pick yourself up and get back on the grind. No person in history has ever become a success by giving up, and neither will you, so STICK WITH IT!

If you make sure to avoid these four common newbie mistakes, you will not have a problem with making a solid income from your online business. Good Luck!

What It Takes to Make It in Empower Network

I am writing this article on the heels of my first Empower Network live event. I have stayed away from writing about Empower Network and have chosen to focus on education, Ultimate Fighting Championship and my family up until this point.

Frankly, I am much more interested in talking about what I am interested in talking about. You know what I mean.

However, what I have ignored is the platform that allows me to express myself and express myself freely while having the opportunity to earn a seven-figure income at the same time.

For me this is about a revolution and accessing the truth about who I am and what I care about. Maybe, a simpler way to put it is to express myself and what I care about freely without any of the constraints of what people care about AND to make a lot of money doing that.

Here is what I am going to do over the next 90 days -

1. Blog and Blog and Blog - The commitment in our company is to blog daily but blogging has become a lifestyle choice for me and I absolutely love it. (All that is really required to make a full time income is to blog once a day)

2. Shoot a lot of videos and post the nasty ones - I shot three videos this morning. In one of them, I was crying, in one of them I was offensive and in one of them I was kind of bored. Originally, I was thinking about leaving them on my camera and not having them see the light of day. Nonsense.

I titled this article - What it takes to make it in Empower Network?

The truth is that I have no idea. However, I do know that we each have 24 hours in a day and all that is required is to make the best of that time and to continually get better at living, loving and playing. That is the noblest of pursuits.

How can you make money doing that?

That really should be the only way to make money but that answer is probably not good enough for a lot of you.

The selling is done for us once somebody clicks one of our banner ads. The MACHINE goes to work for me and I go back to expressing myself however I please.

Sometimes, I will be fake and sometimes I will be real. Sometimes I will be apologetic but I promise to keep getting better every day.

About Two Tier Affiliate Programs

You can make recurring income through the referral of affiliates. By introducing an affiliate into a two tier marketing program, you will make money every time that they get paid.

There are so many different ways that money can be made with affiliate marketing. You can place banner ads, text ads, market in articles, market in emails, post on forums, create fan pages... the list goes on.

Now when you use these forms of affiliate marketing, and somebody buys a product through your affiliate link, you get a commission; that is great! But now, whenever that affiliate gets a commission, you get a percentage of that money too: that sounds even better!

So let us recap on what I have said so far: when you affiliate market, lets say you get paid fifty bucks, AND you have a person working beneath you. So lets say that you get paid 10% on his commissions. If he makes ten sales, totaling $500; you just made another fifty bucks, AND YOU DID NOTHING!

Do you understand what is happening here?

You, as an affiliate get paid whenever an affiliate that you referred makes money. So you are truly making money ON AUTOPILOT! You could have checks worth hundreds of dollars rolling in weekly, from only one affiliate! Just imagine how that would be if you referred 20 people.

What is happening here is you have the opportunity to create a huge web of inward streaming profit. You make money for every person that you refer personally, and you also make money for every person that THEY REFER!

All that is happening is a compound of interest. It is as if you put your money in a bank, and instead of you getting 4% over a year, you get 40% over a month.

The potential for profit is incredible if you want to put in the work, if you want to quit your job and work from home. However, if you like your job and you just want some supplemental income, then all you have to do is refer a few friends, and let them do all of the work for you.

It is almost ridiculous just how simple and easy it can be once it is really broken down.

Although, before you go referring people to two tier affiliate programs, you should definitely do your research. You want to know a few things:

    Is it a credible program
Do they have proper income tracking
Do they have good offers so your affiliates can actually make money
    Do they pay quickly
What percent do you get paid for your referrals
How long, and how often do you get paid

These are all things that you need to consider before you begin to refer people to a 2 tier marketing program, but if you get it correct, you can expect a steady stream of income for a long time into your future.

Affiliate Mistakes To Avoid To Increase Sales

Affiliate marketing is a very appealing business plan. You join a program for free, and when you refer people to it you get paid, sounds great! It is so great in fact, that more and more people are turning to it as a means of starting a home based business everyday. Although, there are a few mistakes that every affiliate marketer seems to make, and if you make these mistakes then you are hurting your business tremendously!

If you can avoid these mistakes, then you will quickly get over the learning curve and increase your commissions dramatically. So without further delay, here are the top four mistakes that affiliate marketers make:

Mistake #1: Not Researching An Affiliate Program

Many new affiliates make the mistake of jumping on board with a program just because it has a high commission rate and a lot of affiliates. You must at first search to see how happy people are with their payouts, how quickly these payouts are sent, and if the network that your promoting fits your website, articles, or however you are collecting customers.

Mistake #2: Incorrect Use Of A Signature File

A lot of affiliates send out e-mails, or post on forums, by just writing about ten lines of content and then jamming the whole thing full of outgoing links to an assortment of different products. The problem with this is that it can easily be filtered out as spam, and nobody is going to click through to your products if it doesn't look like you actually care about what you send to them. Take the ten minutes out of your day to write a good 15 lines with an intriguing first line, and then place your link: simple.

Mistake #3: Using Pre-Written Ad Copy

This is obvious when you think about it from the eyes of a customer. You've been searching for 2 hours for a good product to teach you "whatever," and what do you see? The exact same ad copy that you saw on the other 15 product sites that you went to.

As a marketer, you need to write your own unique ad copy so that you can stand out from all of the other promoters out there. If you won't take the time out to write your own ads, then why should they take the time out of their day to read it?

Mistake #4: Not Capturing Leads

Do you know what you get paid when a person clicks on your paid ad and then gets sent to a product site but they don't buy? NOTHING! You earn no money if they don't buy. So what you should do is collect their name and email so that you can consistently send these people recommendations for good quality products.

By getting their names and emails, you know have a group of potential customers with whom you can connect and form a personal bond with. When you have an email list, you have a source of residual income waiting for you to tap into. So make sure that you treat them well.

Now that you know the four mistakes that you MUST avoid, you are well on your way to becoming a super affiliate. Go out there and earn your commissions the right way while all of the other newbies continue to make these mistakes.
